About

CLUB HISTORY

The Active 20-30 of Sacramento was founded in 1922.

Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to men between the ages of 20-39. The Active 20-30 Club hosts many events throughout the year. Our General Fund events, which are considered larger-scale fundraisers, aim to raise the necessary funds to be transferred over to our Benevolent Fund. Which means we also host Benevolent Fund events, which are typically break-even events that benefit children directly. And of course, our Benevolent Fund also is used to provide grants to other non-profits in the area.  This “active” participation solidifies our relationship with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction.

How we're different

Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to everyone. Our organization differs from many service organizations in that not only do we raise money for local area children’s charities, but we also host several “hands on” special events for disadvantaged and disabled youth where our members have interaction with the children. This active participation solidifies our relationship with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction.

Who we serve

We serve the children of the Greater Sacramento Area through direct monetary contributions and benevolent events that impact the daily lives of disadvantaged youth. 100% of all funds raised is applied to charities and charitable endeavors.

Some of the groups we assist include: Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Make-a-Wish, Sweet Dreams Foundation, Comfort Cases, United Way Sacramento Children’s Home, and the Oncology Ward at  UC DAVIS Children’s Hospital, among others. See a detailed list of our philanthropic programs.
